A special Parent and Family Orientation Program is offered during each of the 2-day Freshman Orientations. The dates for the programs are: June 10-11, June 13-14, June 24-25, June 27-28, August 2-3 ,& August 5-6, 2013.
This program is designed to help you and your student get off to a strong start at TWU. Parent and Family Orientation includes a series of programs, information sessions, tours and activities to help acquaint you with the TWU faculty, staff and students.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Texas Woman's University campus. Please plan to join your daughter, son, spouse and/or friend at TWU Orientation 2013! Registration for the Parent and Family Orientation is not online. You will register for this orientation with your student under the New Student Orientation link.
What is the cost of attending Orientation?
The students' orientation fee covers the student's meals, placement test and materials, housing (double room), t-shirt and Pioneer Camp activities in August. This fee ($125) is included on the student's bill when they register for classes.
The parent/guest fee ($40) covers all meals and program material for family members, but DOES NOT include lodging. This fee is due at orientation check-in or advanced payment at the time of registering online
