A special Parent and Family Orientation Program is offered during each of the 2-day Freshman Orientations. This program is designed to help you and your student get off to a strong start at TWU. Parent and Family Orientation includes a series of programs, information sessions, tours and activities to help acquaint you with the TWU faculty, staff and students. Lodging for the parents and guests will not be provided; however all meals for the first and second day are included in the $40.00 guest fee (excluding TWU's Pre-Orientation).
We look forward to welcoming you to the Texas Woman's University campus. Please plan to join your daughter, son, spouse, family member, and/or friend at TWU Orientation 2014! Registration for the Parent and Family Orientation is not online. You will register for this orientation with your student under the New Student Orientation link.
What is the cost of attending Orientation?
The students' orientation fee covers the student's meals, housing (double room), t-shirt and Pioneer Camp activities in August. This fee ($125) is included on the student's bill when they register for classes.
The parent/guest fee ($40) covers all meals and program material for family members, but DOES NOT include lodging or any fees associated with the Pre-Orientation program that your student may be required to attend. This fee is due at orientation check-in or advanced payment at the time of registering online.
