Orientation Schedule

The tentative Freshman Orientation schedule for both days is as follows:

Day One
    Check-In is between 6:45 am and 7:45 am    
    Placement Test(s)
    Housing and Commuter Services sessions
    Lunch
    Financial Aid
    Bursar
    Academic Succes
    Meet your College Dean
    Various Sessions about getting involved and how to be sucessful at TWU    
    Dinner
    Social Activities
        Parents are done for the day around 6:30
        Student are done for the day around 9:00
    *Breakfast is not provided on Day 1

Please know that all students attending this program MUST stay overnight in the Residence Hall. This accommodation is for student's only. Parents and guests who are needing lodging for the evening can choose any hotel in the Denton Area as lodging is not provided on campus.

    Breakfast- Students 7:15
    Breakfast- Parents and Guests 8:30
    Academic Advising
    Various Sessions
    Lunch
    Registration of Classes

Please plan to be at Orientation until 5 pm on Day Two.

Within two weeks of registering for orientation a Confirmation e-mail will be sent to the student's e-mail TWU account. This email will contain a specific check-in time and location.
