|Director of Physical Plant
This component provides expertise relating to department planning, scheduling, and equipment design, construction remodeling and renovation work relating to plant equipment and utility systems, infrastructure (campus wide), and environmental control system upgrades. Recommends strategies for and directs the operation of the universityís physical plant necessary to support the mission of the Texas Woman's University. Assures implementation of relevant responsibilities to the Facilities Management and Construction departmentís Strategic Operation Plan. Provides direct oversight and management of the departmentís building, maintenance landscape services, custodial service and central utility plant operations. Assists with planning and determination of required resources for effective management, operation, and maintenance of campus facilities. Implements and manages university wide energy conservation programs and utility allocation tools to assure equitable departmental participation and energy savings. This divisions cumulative experience is in excess of 3,471 years.
