Welcome to the Total Health Challenge Online
Total Health Challenge Online is an educational weekly challenge designed to encourage positive and healthy living!
Wellness-based topics with personal challenges are posted on Facebook for 10 weeks beginning February 6, 2012. At the end of each week, participants are eligible to win cool prizes!
Why?
These challenges encourage positive lifestyles and help connect you to the campus resources available to you.
Who can participate?
Any TWU students taking online/classes or from the Dallas and Houston campuses
How does it work?
Easy...
through the Total Health Challenge Online page on Facebook.
Participation is voluntary and can be intermittent, which means you can pick and choose which weekly challenges to complete based on your interests and schedules. So, if you want to participate during Week 2, but not Weeks 3 or 4, that is okay. The challenge is very flexible!
Weekly challenges focus on topics related to time of year or campus events. Some of the topics tackled this spring include
- Financial health
- Skin care
- Weight loss fads
- Time management
Each week will include personal challenges, videos and/or quizzes/games. Additional reference material and TWU resources are included if you want more information.
What if you don't have a Facebook account?
Even if you do not have a Facebook account, you can still access the page by clicking on to the Facebook icon shown above. From there, you can see the challenges and the links for additional resources. However, you will not be able to participate in the discussions or polls.
Prizes:
At the end of each week, participants are eligible to win cool TWU themed prizes.
