John Cissik, Director   Email: JCissik@twu.edu
John holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University and a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from U.T. San Antonio.  He has written several books on strength and speed training, many articles for coaching and lay publications, and travels the country speaking on strength and speed training.  He graduated in the spring of 2006 with an MBA from U.T. Dallas.  He also enjoys working out and spending time with his wife Ewa, his two sons, Hektor and Marcus and his extended family of 1 dog and 2 cats.  
 
Karrie Fletcher, Assistant Director  Email: KFletcher@twu.edu
Karrie holds a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management from the University of Central Oklahoma.  She graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies in May 2008.  She loves all sports but particularly enjoys snow skiing, softball, basketball, and sand volleyball.  She is originally from Oklahoma and is an avid OU Sooner fan.

Michelle has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Texas Tech University and a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Texas.  She has worked in the recreation field for over ten years and stays busy raising her two children, Garrison and Lauren, with her husband Rod.  She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and high school football.

Kandi received her Bachelor's degree from Southern Arkansas University in Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation. She also completed her Master's degree from the University of New Orleans in Sport Management.  She is in the first year of the PhD program at Walden University where she is studying Public Health.  Kandi enjoys working out, sports, politics, and cartoons in her spare time.

Erin Smith, Recreation Supervisor  Email:  ESmith6@twu.edu
Erin holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Chico. She has worked in recreational sports for six years, emphasizing in intramural sports, sport clubs, and children’s summer camps. Hailing from the San Francisco bay area, she is an avid Oakland Athletics fan. She enjoys SCUBA diving, Walleyball, triathlons, rock climbing, and classic cars and motorcycles.

Stephanie Mitchell, Fitness Supervisor  Email:  SMitchell4@mail.twu.edu 
Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Health Education, Kinesiology, and Sports Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology both from Texas A&M University Commerce.  She has worked in Fitness and Wellness for over 6 years. Stephanie is a native Texan and loves Big 12 football and basketball and is a huge Aggie fan! She enjoys spending time with her family and her many pets on the weekends.

Tom Roese, Golf Course Supervisor Email:  TRoese@mail.twu.edu
Tom attended Grayson Community Collage in Sherman, Texas to pursue a degree in Golf Course Management. Before joining the Fitness and Recreation staff, Tom worked at several DFW courses including Dallas Country Club, Sugar Tree Golf Course, and the Colonial Country Club.  Tom has been a member of the Golf Course Superintendent's Association for 15 years and has a class A golf course superintendent certification.  Tom's hobbies include hunting, golfing, and spending time with his wife who is a teacher in the Arlington school system. 

Julie Halliburton, Golf Course Coordinator Email:  Jhalliburton@twu.edu
Julie transferred to TWU Fitness and Recration from Stephen F. Austin State University where she worked for 9 years. She has a love for golf and has been around the game for most of her life.  She has a strong background in business management from working with her husband as they managed five small businesses.  Julie has 3 children Cody, Nick, and Rebekah.  She is married to Ray, her husband of 22 years and her hobbies include cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
