New this Spring...Swim Fit!
Swim fit provides organized aquatics workouts for all adult swimmers (triathletes, fitness, competitive, non-competitive) who are interested in improving their fitness through swimming.
Stoke fundamentals and techniques will be taught for the butterfly, backstroke, breastroke and freestyle.
Each class will offer a relaxed and an interval based workout.
No pre-registration is required...just come by and try a class!
Instructor: Nathan Rhoads
- ASCA Level 4 certified coach
- Coach member of USA Swimming
- 15 years of experience as swimmer, teacher and coach
- current LAC coach at TWU
- comfortable working with swimmers of all abilities
When: Jan 19 to March 12
Time: 7-8am M/W/F (No class on Feb. 5)
Where: Pioneer Hall Indoor Pool
Cost: FREE to TWU students and Fitness & Recreation members
Note: Swim Fit is not an adult learn to swim program. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 meters without assistance.
