Fitness and Recreation
Sport Clubs
Sport Clubs are STUDENT led organizations that can be recreational or competitive in nature. The STUDENTS run the club, but work with the Recreation Supervisor of TWU Fitness and Recreation to comply with specific rules and regulations of the University, and their sport governing bodies.
There are two types of sport clubs you are able to participate with:
Recreational Clubs are geared toward instruction/participation or limited competition/participation. Club meetings average 2 to 3 times per week.
Competitive Clubs compete against other colleges or are active in outside competitions as a team. Teams practice and play an average of four to five times per week. The commitment made by a Competitive Club player is closer to that of varsity athletics.
