Basic Life Support

Basic Life Support (BLS) is an American Heart Association course that trains individuals to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to infants, children, and adults, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relieve choking.  Individuals that successfully complete the course will earn an American Heart Association Basic Life Support course completion card.

Basic Life Support is being offered on the following dates:

All classes will start at 9am and last until approximately 12. 

Cost:
TWU students, faculty and staff: $22
All others: $25

To register, drop by the Fitness and Recreation Center.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is an intense, advanced course that emphasizes the importance of a team approach in management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.  Individuals that successfully complete the course will earn an American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support course completion card.

The initial Advanced Cardiac Life Support course will be offered on the following dates:

Each of these classes will begin at 9am.

We will also be offering a renewal course for individuals already holding an ACLS card.  These courses will be offered on the following dates:

All others: $65
