Fitness and Recreation provides facilities, programs, and events throughout the year to promote a healthy lifestyle to the TWU community.  Our Denton facilities include a full service fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, a climbing wall, 18 hole golf course, outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts,  indoor walking track, racquetball courts, indoor arena, and 8 tennis courts.  We also have fitness facilities on the Dallas Parkland and Houston campuses.

Announcements

Colorado Adventure Trip - June 1-5, 2010.  Join Fitness and Recreation as we travel to Colorado for whitewater rafting, horseback riding and more!  See the Outdoor Adventure page for more information.  ONLY 2 SPOTS REMAINING!

There will be no group exercise classes the week of Spring Break (March 15-19, 2010).

Spring Intramural Sports - Registration is now open for spring golf and tennis leagues!  Register online through the portal or at the Jones Hall fitness center.  Deadline for both leagues is Wednesday, March 24th.

New classes begin after Spring Break: Cardio Tennis and Beginner/Intermiediate Tennis Class.  See Tennis for more details.    

Lifeguard Certification Class coming in April.  Registration begins March 22nd. 

Small Group Swim Lessons will be available this March and April!  See Swim Lessons for more details.
