Fitness and Recreation provides facilities, programs, and events throughout the year to promote a healthy lifestyle to the TWU community.  Our Denton facilities include a full service fitness center, indoor/outdoor pools, a climbing wall, 18 hole golf course, outdoor basketball and sand volleyball courts,  indoor walking track, racquetball courts, indoor arena, and 8 tennis courts.  We also have fitness facilities on the Dallas Parkland and Houston campuses.

New Group Exercise Classes begin on Feb. 2: Ta'i Chi and Hard Core Abs!  See Group Exercise  for more details.

Swimming more your thing?  Swim your way to fitness with our new Swim Fit class.  Nathan Rhoads, a ASCA Level 4 coach with over 15 years of swimming experience, will offer workout options for both the recreational and competitive minded swimmers.  Classes will be M/W/F at 7am and are free to TWU students and Fit and Rec members.    

Spring Intramural SportsRegistration is now going on for basketball, indoor soccer, and racquetball leagues!  Register online through the portal or at the Jones Hall fitness center.  Deadline for all three leagues is Wednesday, Feb. 3rd.
