How can I find my online classes?

You will find online classes in Blackboard, TWU's online class management system. To see your classes, log into Blackboard using your portal username and password. You'll see your classes listed in the My Courses module on the Blackboard home page and on the Courses tab. Click on the course link to participate in the class.

  • Classes are made available by the first day of class. Feel free to contact the instructor if you are unable to access your class by the end of the first class day.
  • Anyone, including non-TWU students, can try a sample course. Log in and use the word “online” as the username and password.

If you have questions about Blackboard, please contact the ISS Helpdesk at Helpdesk@twu.edu or (940) 898-3971.

Online classes are available to Distance Education (DE) students as well as students taking face-to-face classes. Instructors may use Blackboard, for posting:

  • syllabi
  • lectures
  • assignments
  • grades
  • discussion boards
  • chat rooms
  • e-mail, and more.

For more information about Distance Education at TWU, please contact the Office of Lifelong Learning at 940-898-3409 or de@twu.edu.
