Contact the Academic Department of your major for more information and applications. Deadlines vary by department.
Texas Public Education Grant for Non-Resident Students
Available to new and returning international students on basis of documented financial need. Deadline of March 1, 2008. Applications received after the deadline will be considered on a funds-available basis. The following forms must be completed.
- 2008-2009 TWU Financial Aid Application (yes to grants only)
- Certification of Finances
Graduate Research and Teaching Assistantships
Student must contact the academic department of their major. Award amounts vary and recipients may qualify to pay in-state (Texas resident)tuition rate.
Emergency Loans
Available to all international students on a funds-available basis. Please see the TPE Emergency Loans section of our Website on how to complete the process.

Undocumented Students
Undocumented students, those who are not permanent residents or U.S. citizens, and those who have Texas resident enrollment status under HB 1403 do not qualify for federal financial aid. However, they may qualify for state financial aid. These students should complete the TWU Financial Aid Certification and Information Form and the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA should be completed in hard copy form and submitted directly to the Financial Aid Office and NOT mailed to the Federal Student Aid Processing Center.
