- Board of Regents
- The governance of the Texas Woman's University is vested by law in the Board
of Regents, which is composed of nine members, of whom at least four shall be
women, each appointed to a term of six years by the Governor of the State and
confirmed by the Senate. Within the limits of the law, the Board shall be and is
the final authority in all matters affecting the University.
- The Board may adopt such rules and regulations for the management of the
affairs of the Texas Woman's University as the conduct of the business may
require; but such rules and regulations shall not be inconsistent with the
University's Bylaws or the laws of the State of Texas.
