Welcome to the Exercise Physiology Laboratory.  The Exercise Physiology Laboratory is made up of a 950 square foot Human Exercise Testing Laboratory and a 600 square foot Biochemistry Laboratory.

The primary role of the laboratory is in the training of undergraduate students for professions in cardiac rehabilitation and corporate wellness/fitness. Advanced training in exercise physiology is available through the masters of science or doctoral programs.

The secondary role of the laboratory is to perform research to generate new knowledge in the prevention of hypokinetic diseases. Current research being performed in the laboratory is examining the effects of exercise and nutritional interventions on lipid and glucose metabolism. We are presently recruiting volunteers to participate in our research investigations.
