TWU offers courses in Spanish and French.  It is possible to minor in Spanish. If you wish to minor in Spanish (pdf), please contact the Coordinator of Foreign Langauges, Dr. Ruben Rodriguez.

Spanish may be selected as a minor field of study for the Bachelor of Arts or the Bachelor of Sciences degree.  At least 18 semester hours of credit in Spanish are required for a minor in Spanish. Six semester hours must be at the advanced level. The department also offers courses in support of the Bilingual Education program.

Sigma Delta Pi is the national honor society that recognizes those college students who attain excellence in the study of the Spanish language, literature, and cultures. Dr. Ninfa Nik is head of TWU's chapter of Sigma Delta Pi.  Please see her for further information.

Weber State University will host the 25th annual Undergraduate Student Literature Conference in Spring 2010.  See the call for papers [pdf].

Drama Program offers Oedipus the King 

You can see performances of Sophocles' play from Nov. 19-22.  Tickets are available by calling 940.898.2020. Tickets for students are $5.  Tickets are $10 for all others.
