Schedule Changes (drops and adds)
Here are some important things to know about dropping and adding classes:
- The last day to add a class is TODAY, January 20th.
- The fee to drop or add a class is now $5. This is per each add and drop.
- If you need to drop an eLearning course (Televideo or Internet only), I can assist you with that. You will simply need to call me at (940) 898-3411. Please be prepared to give me your student ID# as well as the department, section, and course number of the class you want to add.
- Starting January 25, if you want to drop, I will require notification from your professor so they are aware that you have dropped their course.
- The last day to drop a class without academic penalty is February 23. After that date, if you are failing the class and you drop it, it will show up as a WF (Withdrawal Failing) on your record.
New Bold Chat
We have upgraded our chat feature. Bold Chat is our chat option that allows you to chat with someone in the Office of Lifelong Learning in real time. You can access the chat from the eLearning homepage, or the section for prospective or current students. The log in button will tell you if someone is available to chat. The chat feature is usually available from about 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feel free to chat with us anytime you have a question about dropping, registering for classes, or about one of our degrees.
