CHARITABLE GIFT PLANNING

Charitable Gift Planning is the process of making a charitable gift in a way that provides maximum benefit to you, your family and Texas Woman's University.  Planned gifts, also referred to as deferred planned gifts, are those gifts which benefit the University through Texas Woman's University Foundation at a future date. Through careful planning, a charitable gift can be made in a manner that protects your current income, provides for your retirement, and maximizes tax benefits.  For more information regarding the various options and forms of planned gifts, please see TWU Foundation or contact us in the Office of Institutional Development at Texas Woman's University.

"The plan is to take my assets in the Teacher Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund to support the funding of the fellowship and scholarships . . . The fellowship at TWU was established to inspire people to be administrators in higher education.  Outstanding faculty are important to a university, as are outstanding administrators who make things happen."

Dr. Ann Uhlir
Founding dean of the College of Health Sciences at TWU
