The TWU Dental Hygiene Clinic needs patients
The TWU Dental Hygiene Clinic is expanding its hours and is currently seeking adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The new hours are Monday and 12 – 9 pm, Tuesday 8 - 5 pm, Wednesday 8 – 5 pm and Thursday 8:30 am to 12 pm. Times vary between fall and spring semesters. The TWU dental hygiene students provide low-cost dental hygiene services to the community as part of their education.
A screening is a brief examination required of all adults who have not been patients in the Dental Hygiene Clinic within the past year. The purpose of the screening is to determine whether our clinic can meet your needs, and whether your oral health needs and schedule meet the educational needs of our students.
Dates for screenings vary. Please Call 940.898.2888. No appointment is necessary — screenings are performed on a first-come, first-served basis — but a limited number of people can be screened per day. Screenings are free and generally take about 30 minutes.
All patients are screened to determine oral health care needs. Patients are selected for clinical services based on their oral health care needs and the educational needs of the program.
Print the attached forms, Patient Information, Patient Information en Español, HIPPA Consent, and Consent for Treatment, complete and bring with you when you come for the screening.
No appointment is necessary for screening. Individuals are seen on a first come, first seen basis.
