TexShare Card

The TexShare Card Program is a reciprocal borrowing program which allows registered borrowers from one institution in the State of Texas to check out items from another institution in the State of Texas.  Most academic and public libraries in Texas participate in this program.

To find participating libraries, go to the TexShare Academic and Public Libraries page.

Currently enrolled TWU students living in Texas may request a TexShare card.  Use the TexShare form to place a request.  TexShare requests will be processed and mailed within two weeks.  The card is valid for the current semester.

TWU Catalogs and Other Library Catalogs

Search the TWU Libraries Catalog to locate electronic and print journals and books.

WorldCat helps you locate materials in over 10,000 libraries worldwide.

Databases

Journal databases provide the article citation, which means they give information about the article such as the title of the article, the author, the title of the journal in which the article was published, the volume number, issue number, and pages.

Full text databases provide the actual text of the article in addition to the citation. In most databases you can email full text articles, read them online, or print them.

See the Subject Guide for a list of databases by discipline.

If you need assistance searching a database, the Database Tutorials may help.
