Standard Classroom Technology
All classrooms feature the following standard equipment:
- Fixed or portable instructor station with computer
- AMX Touch Panel for controlling classroom equipment
- 1 or 2 ceiling-mounted projectors
- Desktop or overhead document camera
- Portals for auxiliary equiment - laptop and A/V equipment
- Wireless mouse/presenter
- Wireless keyboard
- Wireless microphone - varies depending on room size
- Wireless lapel microphone - all rooms
- Wireless headset microphone - tiered lecture halls
- Handheld wireless microphone - auditorium
- Windows 7
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Internet Explorer 8
- SPSS 15
- Clinical nursing software
- CPS*
If additional software is needed for instructional purposes, please request assistance from the Dallas Support Team by submitting a work order through Footprints.
*All classrooms feature the CPS student response system (classroom clickers). While all classrooms computers have CPS installed, only classrooms on the first two floors have receivers installed. A receiver is necessary for CPS to function. If an instructor would like to use clickers in another classroom, they may bring there own or request assistance from the Dallas Support Team. If you have not used CPS before and would like to learn more, contact Rachel Clarke (rclarke1@twu.edu).

Specialized Classrooms and Spaces
Auditorium
In addition to the standard equipment, the Auditorium contains specialized equipment, including
- Blu-Ray player
- One-way videoconferencing - allows an instructor or guest speaker to be viewed at multiple locations
- Flexible display options - the large screen can be used in a split-view, showing multiple types of content simultaneously
Computer Classrooms
Computer classrooms are equipped with a computer at each student station. These rooms may be reserved for testing purposes.
Videoconference Classrooms & Meeting Rooms
Five videconference spaces are available: three classrooms and two meeting rooms.
Multi-Purpose Room
The Multi-Purpose Room features moveable tables and chairs to accomodate different teaching scenarios and room usages. This room is reserved through the Division of Student Life.
Breakout Rooms
Breakout rooms are meeting and collaboration spaces, each containing a meeting table and wall-mounted LCD. A wall-plate holds multiple inputs to feed content to the LCD; inputs include laptop and A/V connections. A remote control allows the user to toggle between sources.
