Careers in Library Science - Library Science related jobs and careers

TWU Libraries resources and services - The heart of any university is its library. TWU's library is no exception. Texas Woman's University's Libraries is a network of libraries on every campus of Texas Woman's University in Denton, Dallas Parkland, and Presbyterian Campuses, and Houston. The Evelyn Blagg-Huey Library offers extensive resources, including a reference collection, books, serials, audiovisual materials, government documents, microforms, and the well-known special Woman's Collection. Students also have a model of children's and young adult collections available to them on the Garden Level of the Blagg-Huey Library.

Computing facilities and resources - Library Studies students have access to ITS computing facilities. There are computer labs located in the TWU Library, the Student Center and a Mega lab located on the 2nd floor of the MCL building.

GLISA - SLIS student organization

SLIS discussion lists - Cassandra is the discussion list for TWU SLIS. All students are expected to sign up for and carefully note Cassandra postings. Information on signing up for Cassandra and other SLIS related discussion lists are listed here.
