  • The Digital Divide Network allows access to many articles focusing on the digital divide. This site also incudes information on the international impact of the issue.

  • The Public Library Association site includes information on conferences, events, publications, and jobs for those interested in public librarianship.

  • PUBLIB and PUBLIB-NET Electronic Discussions provides a forum for the discussion of problems and issues affecting public library professionals, and of course those individuals hoping to become public librarians, from all over the country.

  • Urban Libraries Council is an organization focused on conducting research and sponsoring projects and events for public libraries in metropolitan areas.

  • The Young Adult Librarian's Homepage is a directory of YA resources; it includes sections on journals, graphic comics, organizations, literature, publishers, and listservs.
