Students who already have a Master's Degree may wish to seek certification as a professional school counselor. 

Eligibility requirements for certification admission are:

1. Admission by the Graduate School into the Counseling and Development Certification program.
2. A prior Master's Degree.
3. A minimum of two (2) years classroom teaching experience.

Credit may be given for previous applicable coursework.
