Apartment Fair
Each March, apartment complexes throughout Denton come to TWU to showcase their properties. This year's 9th Annual Apartment Fair was on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on the TWU Lawn in between Bell Avenue and the CFO building. TWU Salutes Veterans
On November 12th, TWU hosts a variety of events to celebrate Veteran's Day. Check out pictures of previous TWU Veterans events!
This year our Veteran's Day Program will be held on the Downtown Denton Square at the Old Court House. Shuttles will be provided for transportation to and from the event. The shuttles will pick up passengers between 10:15am-10:45am and return to campus at 12pm.
In addition to events on Veterans day, Commuter and Non-Traditional Services, in conjunction with other campus partners sponsors a variety of events for veterans throughout the year.
Commuter Breaks
Twice a month, Commuter Services provides free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bottled water, and other snacks for commuter students from 4:30-6p, typically in MCL or ASB.
Non-Traditional Student Week
Mon., Nov. 5th - Thurs., Nov 8th
Non-Traditional Student Week is a national event held in November. At TWU, events include veteran's basketball/volleyball game, family open swim at the TWU indoor pool, chair massages, commuter breaks, and other activities as diverse as non-traditional students!
Commuter Appreciation Week
Every October, Commuter Services dedicates an entire week to you! Events typically include a Commuter Lunch, Commuter Breaks & Breakfasts, give-aways, evening events, and other events designed especially for commuter students!
eLounge Online Chats
As a busy student you may not have the time to explore all the support services that are available to you on campus. No problem, just meet us online in the eLounge once a month and we will bring the information to you! Hang out in the eLounge from your computer once a month from 12-1pm on Fridays!
