My Undergraduate degree is in Kinesiology from TWU and I am currently working on my Master's in Occupational Therapy. I work for TWU's Fitness and Recreation as the Project Coordinator for the Total Health Challenge and a Personal Trainer. I became a non-traditional student in September of 2007 when I had my one and only child, Sara. I understand both traditional and nontraditional student spectrums of needs, but as the Non-Traditional Student Senator I would like to hear out the needs of the parents and work together on a plan that would benefit the whole. It is a challenge balancing school and family but with me being the liaison, in time I hope to implement aggressive change.

As a commuter from Dallas I like to be involved with school activities; Get to know other students, learn from them and to voice their opinions

I love being a commuter senator because I enjoy helping my fellow students, to ease the stress commuting adds to the already stressful process of school. My favorite color is green! TWU is a great school because of the diversity the campus brings.
