Non-Discrimination Policy

None of the TWU Clinics within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders including TWU Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic, Denton and the Stroke Center of Dallas refuse services on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age, veteran’s status, or against qualified disabled persons except as provided by law.  The University clinics comply with nondiscrimination regulations under Title VI and Title VII, Civil Rights Acts of 1964; Title IX, Education Amendments Act of 1972; Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974; Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Age Discrimination Act of 1967; and other applicable statutes.

Girl Scout Program

What does it take to communicate without speech? This fun workshop will be all about communication. Girls will learn about non-verbal communication and body language. The American Sign Language alphabet, some phrases, and even part of a song will be taught.  Please make checks and money orders payable to SOCS. More Information and Application Form (doc)
