Welcome to the College of Health Sciences Advising page!  Advising plays a large part of your ability to plan and succeed at TWU.  All of the advisors in the College of Health Sciences are eager to help you with your academic and career goals.  The information provided below will help you get to the people you need, as well as some other important information.  We look forward to hearing from you!

Freshman

All freshmen (less than 30 earned credit hours) and all pre-Dental Hygiene majors will be advised by Kim Taylor, College Advisor of Health Sciences.
Freshmen and pre-Dental Hygiene advising schedule is as follows:
*October 2nd - 7th & 13th - 17th:  Advising for Athletes, GForce, Honors and Veterans.
*October 21st - Advising is open to all FTIC students and pre-Dental Hygiene students

**NOTE: Please inform your advisor as soon as possible if you are thinking of changing your major.  You must fill out the proper forms to have your major officially changed in the university system.**

Important Dates

Last day to drop a class without academic penalty:  October 2nd
Last day to drop a class or withdraw from the university:  October 31st
Scholarship applications due:  March 15th
Financial aid priority deadline for Summer/Fall :  March 15th
Financial aid priority deadline for Spring : September 1st
