About the Emeritus College
Join other seniors ages 50+ in an exciting learning adventure. Emeritus College, sponsored by the Center for Achievement and Lifelong Learning at the University of North Texas, in conjunction with the Texas Woman's University Office of Lifelong Learning Continuing Education division, offers classes, travel programs and social activities for the senior set.
Topics will range from fine arts to current issues, from history and social science to language and literature, from religions and spirituality to health and well being. Enjoy short lectures and in-depth seminars.
Class StructureMembers select their own schedules and choose from a variety of learning options and topics. Some classes are one-time lectures (60-90 minutes), while more in-depth study is available through seminars (60-90 minutes for 4-6 weeks). All classes will include time for group discussion. Classes will be held weekdays, mostly during the day or early evening.

Parking Information for TWU
Attendees should check-in with the information booth attendant at the entrance to the visitors parking lot to receive a parking pass and directions on where to park. Attendees of sessions held in the ACT Building will park in the visitor's parking lot just northwest of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. Reference to this lot - the centrally located "green" lot as seen on the TWU Campus map. Attendees of sessions in the Art Building will be directed to use any available parking space around the Art Building. On the same map, the ACT Building is labeled "1A" and the Art Building is labeled "6".
