Volunteer

volunteers working on the garden

The butterfly gardens include:

  • A smaller garden next to the Ann Stuart Science Complex
  • A larger showcase garden west of the Texas Pond.

Volunteering gives students opportunities to learn by doing and to serve the university by creating a beautiful landmark on campus.

Interested students assist faculty and staff to maintain the gardens. We are seeking student organization commitments for work days of approximately four hours. Your organization does not have to commit to helping with all work days, and your pledge is subject to other commitments your group may have. If you complete the pledge form, your leaders will be contacted regarding the specific dates on which work days are scheduled.

If your organization is willing to help maintain The Dr. Bettye Myers Butterfly Gardens, please complete the Student Organization Pledge Form.
