What
are the Eligibility Requirements?
-
Be
a U.S. citizen.
-
Have an interest in biomedical
research career.
-
Major in biology, chemistry,
mathematics, nutrition, kinesiology, or other science relevant to biomedical research.
-
Have completed one semester at
one at a participating school with a GPA of 2.8 or higher by the end of the first
semester.
-
Be a member of an
underrepresented ethnic group.
How
does a student apply to the Bridges Program?
-
Complete an application and return
it to the Bridges coordinator for your school.

Ask two teachers to provide
recommendations to attach to your application.

Submit your application to the
local BRIDGES coordinator along with transcripts at the end of your fall semester in the
freshman year
