System Requirements

In order to successfully complete online courses, Texas Woman's University recommends that your computer be equipped with the following:

PC

• Pentium processor or better
• Windows 98, 2000, NT, ME, XP or Vista 
• 500 MB hard drive (if downloading files, 2 GB should be minimum)
• 64 MB of RAM
• 56K modem
• Sound capability (sound card and speakers)
• Compatible Web Browser (Internet Explorer 6.0+, Firefox 1.0+, or Netscape 8.0+)

Macintosh

• Power PC processor or better
• MacOS 9 or MacOS X
• 500 MB hard drive (if downloading files, 2 GB should be minimum)
• 64 MB of RAM
• 56K modem
• Sound capability (speakers)
• Compatible Web Browser (Safari 1.2+, or Firefox 1.0+)
