System Requirements

In order to successfully complete online courses, Texas Woman's University recommends that your computer be equipped with the following minimum requirements:

PC

• Pentium processor or better
• Windows XP, Vista or 7
• 1.5 GHz CPU or greater with minimum of 1GB RAM
• Network adapter: LAN (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi)
• DSL or cable broadband Internet (Dial up not compatible)
• Sound capability (sound card and speakers)
• Compatible Web Browser (Internet Explorer 8+ (10 is not recommended), Firefox 3.6, Chrome)

Macintosh

• Power PC processor or better
• Mac OSX 10.5+
• 1.5 GHz CPU or greater with minimum of 1GB RAM
• Network adapter: LAN (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi)
• DSL or cable broadband Internet (Dial up not compatible)
• Sound capability (speakers)
• Compatible Web Browser (Safari 4.0+, or Firefox 3.5+, Chrome)
