2006: Appeared in 93 games and 30 matches for the Pioneers...Recorded 170 digs, the sixth-highest total on the team...also tallied 27 kills, 6 service aces, and 33 points...posted double-digit dig totals in five matches...best match of the seaon came in three-game win vs. Jarvis College on Aug. 29 when she totaled season-highs in kills (10), service aces (3), and points (13)...named to the 2006 Lone Star Conference North Division Commisioner’s Honor Roll.
2005: Richmond played in 116 games as a sophomore … recorded 231 digs and 28 kills … had seven double-figure dig matches with 17 in four-game victory against Southeastern Oklahoma State … put down a season-best eight kills in four-game win at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
2004: Played in 57 games as a freshman ... had her best match of the season against St. Mary’s with a career-high 17 kills in 33 attempts ... tallied a solid defensive effort with 15 digs and eight block assists in win over Howard Payne.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in volleyball (2001), basketball (2000), softball (2000) and track (2002) ... received All-Conference volleyball honorable mention honors as a junior ... named district and area offensive Player of the Year and Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star in volleyball as a senior ... also earned numerous softball and basketball honors as a prepster ... played club volleyball for Denton Juniors (2002-04) ... high school volleyball coaches were Deryll Friday and Judy Roos.
PERSONAL: Kasye was born Nov. 6, 1985 ... she is the daughter of Don and Jamye Richmond ... hobbies include volleyball, working, going to school and having fun with friends ... a kinesiology major.
