2004: Weaver was a medical redshirt after injuring her knee three games into the season...recognized for her rehabilitation efforts by the TWU athletic training staff, receiving the Golden Cast Award.
2003: Earned her second All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention nod…made 11 starts in goal during her sophomore campaign…posted a 1.85 goal against average, playing more than 1,116 minutes and totaling 60 saves…recognized as the LSC Defensive Player of the Week after earning her second shutout of the season, a 1-0 victory against No. 18 Central Oklahoma…also credited with a shutout in a 2-0 non-conference game with Texas Wesleyan…a finalist for the prestigious 2003 TWU President’s Award...twice tabbed Denton Record-Chronicle Player of the Week.
2002: Played in 16 games at goal, starting seven...allowed 31 goals in 1,160 minutes of action...recorded team-high 86 saves for a .735 save percentage...earned All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention honors... finished season with 2-5-2 record with one shutout...turned in season-high 11 saves during three different games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated third in her class from Prosper High School...member of the Texas Spirit club team for six years under coach Carl Camplen... Prosper H.S. did not field a soccer team...lettered in softball, powerlifting, track, volleyball and basketball...named District Honorable Mention at second base as a freshman and sophomore and earned Golden Glove honors in softball...competed in the shot-put and discus throws for the Prosper track team as a freshman...Outstanding Achievement awards in History, English, Math, Science and Latin...member of the Student Council, the Beta Club and was an “A” Honor student all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Sara Marie is the daughter of Eric and Karen Weaver of Prosper...born on January 28, 1984...hobbies include playing softball, basketball and reading books...a criminal justice major.
