2005: Sherman was the starting shortstop in all 46 games…hit .277 with 36 hits including seven doubles, a team-high three triples and a home run in 130 at-bats…scored 16 runs and had 15 RBI’s…had a seven-game hitting streak starting with two hits against Eastern New Mexico (3/19/05) and concluding with a base hit against Angelo State (4/2/05)…was 3-for-4 with three RBI’s in win over UT-Dallas (2/21/05)…hit a two-run homer down the left field line against Incarnate Word (4/19/05)…led the team with 97 assists…had 64 putouts and 10 errors in 171 chances…member of squad named one of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top Ten Academic Teams for the 2004-05 school year with a team grade point average of 3.416 which was eighth in NCAA Division II.
HIGH SCHOOL: A softball letterwinner at Flower Mound Marcus High School...named all-district 6-5A first team her first three years of school while also earning the Marauders offensive MVP award as a freshman and sophomore...added team MVP and all-Denton County honors in 2003...played club softball for Fear This...a member of Who’s Who Among American High School Athletes, Who’s Who Among American High School Students and the Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society.
