2005 : Emory was named to the 2005 LSC All-Lone Star Conference South Division second team…started all but one of the Pioneers games with a .298 batting average…had 31 hits and scored 15 runs…stole 11 bases in 13 attempts…went 3-for-3 with a double, run and RBI against Texas A&M-Kingsville (3/12/05)…registered 51 putouts with four assists and two errors in 57 chances while fielding at a .965 clip…received LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll accolades…member of squad named one of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top Ten Academic Teams for the 2004-05 school year with a team grade point average of 3.416 which was eighth in NCAA Division II.
2004: The freshman played in 46 games, with 27 starts, seeing a lot of time as a pinch-runner...tied for third on the team with 11 stolen bases...got a hit in the LSC Semifinal game against Southeastern Oklahoma...hit a triple against Texas Wesleyan on March 9...went 3-for-4 in a road game at Texas Wesleyan on April 14 with a RBI and two runs scored.
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year softball letterwinner at Sherman High School...earned all-district first team and all-Texomaland honors as a junior...twice earned all-district honorable mention honors and selected her team’s “Most Dedicated” by coaches Todd Simpson and Bruce Ewington...played club softball five years for the Texoma Ringors...an excellent student, made the 95-100 Honor Roll all four years.
PERSONAL: A kinesiology major...enjoys skiing, going to the movies and spending time with friends.
