2005: Danesi played in 41 games with 31 starts as a freshman…hit .283 with 26 hits including four doubles and a triple in 92 at-bats…had 11 RBI’s and scored nine runs…was 3-for-4 with a run scored against St. Mary’s (4/5/05)…recorded a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 20 putouts, six assists and no errors in 26 chances…member of squad named one of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top Ten Academic Teams for the 2004-05 school year with a team grade point average of 3.416 which was eighth in NCAA Division II.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year softball letterwinner at Santa Fe High School...a two-time all-district first team 23-4A selection...earned all-district honorable mention honors as a freshman and followed that season up by being named all-district first team and all-county honorable mention in 2002...She was tabbed all-county first team and named to the Round Rock All-Tournament Team last season...played club softball for the Taz and Texas Connection...A dedicated student as well, Danesi won first place in the University Interscholastic League Chemistry contest and is a two-year member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
PERSONAL: An interdisciplinary study major.
