2005: Chambless played in 23 games with 19 starts…finished the season 8-8 in 18 starts and 22 appearances in the circle…had a season-high 11 k’s in victory over Missouri Valley (3/16/05)… recorded 11 complete games and five shutouts in 107.1 innings of work…tied the school record for sacrifice hits in a game with three against East Central (2/25/05)…in limited at-bats, she had two hits with a double, two RBIs and scored two runs…received Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors …member of squad named one of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top Ten Academic Teams for the 2004-05 school year with a team grade point average of 3.416 which was eighth in NCAA Division II.
2004: Posted a 10-2 record with a team-best 1.85 ERA...made three appearances during the LSC Tournament, striking out five Rambelles in five and two-thirds innings pitched...struck out six Fighting Sioux in a 3-1 victory against North Dakota at the Alamo Invitational...also sees time as part of the Pioneer offense with a .250 batting average in 24 attempts...made one successful stolen base attempt against Mars Hill on February 21...went 2-of-4 at the plate with an RBI in a conference win at Eastern New Mexico on March 26...also picked up two complete game wins on the mound against the Lady Reds.
2003: Posted a 15-9 record, one save and 3.73 ERA in 33 appearances...earned Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week honors on March 25 after pitching 19 innings against Kingsville with 13 strikeouts...also credited with the win in a tough non-conference game with St. Mary’s, striking out seven...went .280 (14-of-50) at the plate...hit a triple against Oklahoma Panhandle State on February 18.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in basketball, volleyball, track and softball at Collinsville High School…helped lead the Pirates to three straight Regional Championships and was twice named the District’s Defensive Player of the Year…finished her senior campaign by earning an ERA of 0.64 and a record of 20-6…tabbed Newcomer of the Year in District 9-2A and all-state first team by the Texas Sports Writers Association as a freshman…named to two all-state squads as a junior after recording the state record in classes 1A-4A for most strikeouts (17) thrown in a state championship game…was an area qualifier in the high jump and 1600 meter relay as a freshman, and the 100 meters and high jump as a sophomore…also named all-district second team in basketball...helped lead the volleyball team to a district championship in 2000-01…played club softball for the Texoma Sting from 1998-2002…A-B Honor Roll at Collinsville all four years.
PERSONAL: A dental hygiene major…likes to shop and spend time with family and friends in her spare time.
