2005: Arnold started 41 games at first base…had a team-high 37 hits, 11 doubles and 21 RBIs…hit two home runs with one each against New Mexico Highlands (3/5/05) and Incarnate Word (4/19/05)…recorded 234 put outs, six assists and five errors in 245 chances for a .980 fielding percentage…holds the school record for putouts in a career with 984 in three seasons…has 1044 total chances in her career which is just three short of the record…received Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll honors…member of squad named one of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top Ten Academic Teams for the 2004-05 school year with a team grade point average of 3.416 which was eighth in NCAA Division II.
2004: Concluded the season starting 115 straight games for the Pioneers, tied only with Nikki Boudreaux for such a long streak...went 3-for-4 in the LSC Tournament semifinal against Southeastern Oklahoma, with a double and a stolen base...ranks fourth on the team with 24 RBIs and fifth on the team with 47 hits on the season...had a big game on March 17 against Benedictine with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate, hitting a double, triple and three RBIs...also drove in three runs at Texas Wesleyan on April 14...also rode a 24-game streak without a defensive error at first base.
2003: One of three Pioneers to start all 60 games at first base...ranked sixth on the team with a .326 batting average...hit seven doubles and drilled her first career triple against Texas Wesleyan on March 11...stole two bases against Ouachita Baptist during the St. Edward’s Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in softball all four years at The Colony High School… named all-district honorable mention as a sophomore, all-district second team as a junior and all-district first team in her senior campaign…played club softball with the Challengers (1998-99), Nitro (1999-00) and Spark Plugs (2000-01)…graduated in the top 10 percent of her class and was a member of the National Honor Society and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
PERSONAL: a kinesiology major…enjoys listening to music, reading and riding motorcycles in her spare time.
