Ingram

ASSISTANT COACH
JAMI INGRAM
After a stellar career with the Pioneers, Ingram enters
her second year as a member of the TWU softball coaching
staff
as a graduate assistant while she
pursues her master’s
degree in Kinesiology at TWU.
Ingram concluded her playing career with the 2003 National Fastpitch Coaches
Association Award as the Best Catcher in Division II as well as All-America honors.
The laurels also included her selection to the All-Lone Star Conference First
Team and All-South Central Region First Team for the second year in a row.
Ingram set several records during her senior season with the Pioneers. She
more than doubled the previous school record for home runs in a season with
14. Ingram
also drove in a record 56 RBIs during the 2003 season.
In
her two-year career at TWU, she also earned a spot in the
record book for career homers (18) and RBIs (92).
Ingram
came to TWU from Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. She started
two seasons for the Buccaneers and earned
All-Region XIV as a freshman
and
sophomore. She
was also a member of the Honor Roll all four semesters and was tabbed
the President’s
Scholar in the Spring of 2000.
A
native of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, Ingram played
for the Richmond Islanders club softball team
for 11 years.
