2004:
Lauren Kondikoff set several new career bests as a regular
in vault, beam and floor rotations…scored
a personal best 9.85 on the balance beam at the Jan. 24 TWU
Quad Meet…made her collegiate debut on vault at San Jose
on Feb. 6…was the Pioneers’ top scorer on beam
(9.825) and floor (9.700) in that same meet…tied personal
bests on the vault (9.700) and floor (9.825) during a Feb.
23 triangular meet with No. 24 BYU and Air Force…improved
both scores with a career-high mark 9.725 on vault March 5
at the Gym-Back Invitational in Arkansas and a 9.875 on floor
during a quad meet at TWU on March 12…Denton Record-Chronicle
Athlete of the Week (Jan. 31)…recognized by the National
Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women as a Scholastic
All-American for the second year in a row…also received
USAG Scholar-Athlete and Scholastic All-Conference honors… named
to Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.
2003: Behind tough competition, did not compete
in any rotations but was a regular alternate at several meets...named
Scholastic
All-America by the NACGC/W.
2002: Saw action in a total of
seven meets, making four appearances on beam and floor exercise...also
made the bars line-up in the season opener...recorded season/career-highs
of 8.400 on bars, 9.225 on beam and 9.750 on floor...counted
towards the team total two different times on beam and floor.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated with honors from Dallas Christian High School...
competed for Mesquite Institute Gymnastics
at the
club level and was coached by Steve Elliot, Amber Prather
and Kevin Freeman...was the Level 9 Texas State Champion in
the
all-around, Level 9 Regional Champion on floor exercise and
finished seventh in the all-around at the Western Nationals
during her freshman year... finished second in the all-around
and on the beam at the Level 10 Texas State Championships
and qualified for National Elite the following season...injured
for much of her junior season, but rebounded as a senior
to
become the Level 10 Texas State Beam Champion and finished
third in the all-around...was a member of the National Honor
Society and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
PERSONAL: A fashion merchandising major...enjoys
being with friends, shopping, jet skiing and watching movies.
