Addi Hundley made significant improvements before a hand
injury sidelined her for the season…tied
her personal best score of a 9.675 on the uneven bars during
a tri-meet with San Jose State and New Hampshire on Feb. 6…a
National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women
Scholastic All-American and Scholastic All-Conference selection.
PRIOR TO TWU: Lettered for the Auburn University
gymnastics team as a freshman...competed as an all-arounder
in her collegiate
debut against SEC rival Alabama, scoring a 38.600...scored
career-highs in that meet on beam (9.775) and floor (9.725)...earned
her personal best 9.675 on the bars later in the season against
Alabama...competed on the bars in four meets for the Tigers
and was in the line-up three times on vault...recorded a
personal best 9.525 on the vault against Centenary.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated
with honors from Tuscaloosa County High School in Alabama...before
transferring there as a junior, she attended Lake Highlands
High School in Dallas...was the 1998 Texas State Bar Champion
as a sophomore...she became the 1999-2000 Alabama State Champion,
placing first in the all-around, vault, bars, beam and floor...finished
third in the all-around at the Level 10 Regionals...competed
at the 2000 Junior Olympic Nationals...a member of the National
Honor Society.
PERSONAL:
A mathematics major…her hobbies
include dance, snow skiing, shopping and reading.
