Thecla Gavin made an impressive collegiate debut during the
Jan. 24 TWU Quad Meet, scoring a 9.800 on
the floor for the second-best Pioneer performance of the night…received
National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women
Scholastic All-America and Scholastic All-Conference honors.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Graduated eighth in her class at Brimfield High School…competed at Level 9 and 10 in the state and regional
events…placed fourth at Level 9 in 2001…a member
of the National Honor Society and selected to Who’s
Who Among U.S. High School Students from 2000-02.
PERSONAL:
A child development major…a member of the Fellowship of Christian
Athletes…enjoys shopping and hanging out with friends.
