2006: Versatile gymnast competed on vault, bars, beam, and floor for TWU as a sophomore...was the Pioneers top performer on the floor exercise...scored a season-high 9.85 on floor at the 2006 MIC Championship meet on 3/25/06...Top bars score of 9.725 also came at 2006 MIC Championship meet...season-high beam mark was 9.40 on 2/4/06...consistency was her forte on vault as she scored a 9.55 or better in ten of the Pioneers twelve meets...Took part in the all-around competition at three meets, registering a high score of 37.825 on 2/10/06 at Utah State...Named to the 2006 All MIC first-team...selected as a 2006 USAG All-American on bars...a 9.5750 score helped her finish third in the individual final for bars at the 2006 USAG National meet...competed at the 2006 NCAA South Central Regional meet in Fayetteville, Arkansas on floor exercise...a MIC Scholar-Athlete.

2005: Brisa Fuentes competed on the vault, uneven bars and floor exercise as a freshman...set season-high scores on the vault (9.650) and bars (9.875) against Auburn...was part of a team record on the bars (3/19/05)...was the co-National Champion on the uneven bars at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships...named a USAG All-American on the bars...earned the Honor Award for distinguishing themselves by excellence of performance and coaching at the highest level of national competition...named a National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women Scholastic All-American...a MIC Scholar-Athlete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Ryan High School in 2004...competed at the club level for Achievers Gymnastics Center in Denton, Texas throughout high school...qualified for the Junior Olympic Nationals in 2001 and 2002 at Level 10...placed seventh in the all-around at regionals and 25th at nationals in 2002...named Denton Record-Chronicle Athlete of the Month in 2002 and has earned TAAS Reading Recognition honors.

PERSONAL: An elementary education major...the daughter of Valerie Fuentes...hobbies include church involvement.
