SCHOLASTIC
HONORS CONTINUE FOR TWU GYMNASTS
Eleven Pioneers Are Recognized for Academics by Coaches
DENTON,
TX—The Texas Woman's University gymnastics team ranked
16th overall in the 2004 National Association of Collegiate
Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) scholastic rankings with
a team grade point average of 3.37. The NACGC/W ranks all
women's gymnastics programs in the United States in NCAA
Divisions I, II, III.
“This
honor really speaks volumes to the type of student-athletes
we have at Texas Woman's University,” head coach Frank
Kudlac said. “These gymnasts have excelled
in their sport and in the classroom. That success is sure
to carry into their lives after TWU and this is a great honor
for them and the University.”
Eleven
Pioneers received NACGC/W All-American honors: senior Dana
Giametta (Brookshire, TX/Terry HS), juniors Jennifer
Bolli (Rockwall, TX/Rockwall H.S.), Lauren
Kondikoff (Mesquite,
TX/Dallas Christian HS), and Erin
MacNabb (Glenwood, MD/ Notre Dame Prep), sophomores Addi
Hundley (Dallas, TX/Auburn University), Amber
McMeans (Hurst,
TX/L.D. Bell HS), Bethany Rehm (St. Charles, MO/ Francis
Howell HS) and freshmen Brenda

TWU's
team GPA ranked first among Division II institutions. The

in the Top 50 list and it ties the 1994 and 2003 Pioneer
squads that also had 11 Scholastic All-Americans.
