2003-04: As a freshman, Megan McCrummen played in all 27 games and
moved into the starting point guard position for 19 games…led
the team with 108 assists (4.0 per game), which tied for
fourth place in the Lone Star Conference…averaged 4.7
points and 2.2 rebounds per game…ranked third on the
team in three-point field goal percentage (.305)…scored
a career-high 11 points in a conference game with Midwestern
State on Jan. 27, hitting 2-of-2 three-pointers…went
6-for-6 at the free-throw line in the Pioneers’ win
over Texas A&M-Commerce on Jan. 31.
HIGH SCHOOL: 2003 graduate of North Mesquite High School ...
lettered four years in basketball and two years in softball … two-time
all-district first team selection as a sophomore and senior
for the Lady Stallions … named to the Aledo All-Tournament
Team and tabbed North Mesquite’s Most Valuable Player
as a senior … also earned an all-district second team
selection her junior year … member of the North Mesquite
Honor Roll for four years … also a member of Who’s
Who Among American High School Students in 2001 and 2002 … played
club basketball for the Texas Spirit (2000), Team Texas (2002)
