WIN SEASON FINALE AT TEXAS A&M-KINGSVILLE
Three Score in Double Figures
KINGSVILLE,
Texas – Texas
Woman’s University juniors Emily Hartman
(Mesquite, TX) and Lauri Engleman (Jewett,
TX) each scored 13 points in the Pioneers season
finale 67-57 victory at Texas A&M-Kingsville. Hartman
came off the bench to shoot an impressive 6-of-6 from the
field, while Engleman remained tough under pressure to
sink 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Senior Julie
Prescher (Valley View, TX) tossed in 12 points
to finish her career ranked 22nd on the Pioneers’ all-time
scoring list with 571.
“A
lot of our kids did a lot of great things tonight,” said
TWU head coach Devin Gabbard. “There
was even scoring and (freshman) Kelley Humphries did a tremendous
job in shutting down their best player.”
TWU
concludes its season 3-24 overall and 2-12 in the Lone Star
Conference.
