PIONEERS DROP 62-51 DECISION TO LADY SAVAGES

DURANT, Oklahoma– Southeastern Oklahoma earned a 62-51 victory over the visiting Pioneers on Saturday night.

Junior forward Kenyada Frazier (Denver, CO) led the Pioneer offense with 10 points. Senior Daphne Lyons (Flower Mound, TX) added a game-high nine rebounds.

"We just didn’t come out of the gate tonight," TWU head coach Devin Gabbard said. "We need to find a better way to start and not get in a hole."

The Pioneers fall to 1-11 on the season. TWU returns home to Kitty Magee Arena for a 7 p.m. tip on Thursday, January 15 against Southwestern Oklahoma.
