SCHROEDER SELECTED TO 2007 LSC VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
 DENTON, Texas (November 12) – Texas Woman’s University junior middle blocker Kandis Schroeder was picked for the 2007 Lone Star Conference Volleyball Championship All-Tournament Team.
Schroeder (pictured) recorded eight kills and five block assists in the Pioneers’ four-game quarterfinal loss to Abilene Christian University last Thursday, November 8, in the annual LSC postseason tournament.
The All-Tournament selection is the fourth postseason honor that Schroeder has received in the last week. On Tuesday, November 6, she was selected to the 2007 LSC Volleyball All-Academic Team. On Wednesday, November 7, she was honored as a member of the 2007 LSC Volleyball All-Conference first-team. On Thursday, November 8, she was picked for the 2007 ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District VI College Division Volleyball Team.
West Texas A&M University swept the University of Central Oklahoma to win their thirteenth LSC Tournament title. Three LSC teams - WTAMU, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Midwestern State University - will compete in the 2007 NCAA Division II Southwest Regional Tournament taking place this weekend in Kearney, Nebraska.
