HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in volleyball for the Bellville (Texas) Brahmas in both 2005 and 2006...as a senior last season, she carried her team all the way to the 2006 UIL Region II-3A semifinals...as a junior, she led Bellville to the 2005 UIL Class 3A State Championship...was also named to the All-District 23-3A second team on two occasions and received her team’s 2006 Most Valuable Hitter and Fighting Heart awards...a member of the Texstar club team from Dec. 2006-April 2007...played two seasons of basketball and ran track for two years in high school...also chosen for numerous Academic All-District 23-3A teams for her work in the classroom at Bellville.
PERSONAL: Wilnette LyGene’ Traylor was born on June 24, 1989 and is the daughter of Willie and Lynette Traylor...a kinesiology major...spends her spare time singing, dancing, shopping and hanging out with friends and family...is active in YoungLife.
