HIGH SCHOOL : Played three years (2004-06) of varsity volleyball for Windthorst (Texas) High School...won three UIL Class A State Championships (2004, 2005, 2006)...in 2006, she was a UIL Class A first-team All-State selection and a member of the TGCA (Texas Girls Coaching Association) All-State team...was chosen, as both a junior and senior, as the All-District 6A setter...also lettered in basketball, cheerleading, softball, and track in high school...played volleyball for the Red River and TVC Volleyball clubs...was an honor student at Windthorst, a member of the National Honor Society, and selected for many Academic All-District 6A teams.
PERSONAL: Sydney Paige was born on July 18, 1989 and is the daughter of Charles and Mitzi Veitenheimer...older sister Danielle is also a member of the TWU volleyball team...majoring in fashion merchandising...hobbies include golf, tennis, snow skiing, and sewing...active in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church Youth Group and the JCDA.
