PIONEER VOLLEYBALL TO PROMOTE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
Charitable events taking place at October 12 game vs. UCO
DENTON, Texas (Oct. 11) – Pink will be the color of choice on Thursday evening October 12 when the TWU volleyball team takes on Central Oklahoma at 7 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena in Pioneer Hall. The Pioneers will be getting behind a charitable cause and taking steps to promote breast cancer awareness.
Informational flyers and brochures about breast cancer and breast cancer prevention will be available at the TWU promotions table. Also at the game, fans will have the opportunity to make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.
Thursday’s game will be the first home game for the Pioneer volleyball team since Saturday, September 30. The Pioneers will be looking to snap a two match losing streak and improve on their 3-3 LSC record.
